A small aluminum boat was taken from the beach in the 9700 block of N. Lake Drive in July. The theft was reported Nov. 22.

A 27-year-old man who was driving 30 mph on Interstate 43 was pulled over in the 8400 block for investigation of possible drunken driving at 2 a.m. Nov. 24. Results of a blood draw were not available.

A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on charges of retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 250 W. Holt Ave., at 4:15 p.m. Nov. 26.

Assault

A 16-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested on charges of battery to a teacher at Bay View High School, 2751 S. Lenox St., at 4 p.m. Nov. 22.

Other

A 17-year-old Milwaukee girl was cited for obstructing an officer and truancy at Bay View High School, 2751 S. Lenox St., at 8:47 a.m. Nov. 21.

A 16-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested on a state charge of disorderly conduct at Bay View High School, 2751 S. Lenox St., at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 21.

A 12-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for disorderly conduct at Fritsche Middle School, 2969 S. Howell Ave., at 11 a.m. Nov. 26.

A 33-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct in the 600 block of W. Oklahoma Ave. at 5 p.m. Nov. 26.

A 1996 Dodge Intrepid valued at $1,500 was taken from the lot at Family Table Restaurant, 6598 W. Brown Deer Road, between 11 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Nov. 16.

A 40-year-old homeless man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer after giving a false name when police were called to Pick 'n Save, 9200 N. Green Bay Road, at 2:25 p.m. Nov. 17. The man was asking passers-by for cash outside the store and when they refused he swore at them. Officers located him inside a nearby McDonald's, where he swore at them and called them names.

A Brown Deer man reported an object was thrown at his windshield while he was driving near N. 56th St. at W. Wahner Ave. at 5:25 p.m. Nov. 17. Damage was estimated at $800.

Two Milwaukee women, ages 34 and 37, were arrested on charges of stealing items valued at $269 at T.J. Maxx, 9020 N. Green Bay Road, at 6:59 p.m. Nov. 17.

A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and operating after revocation and on a warrant with the South Milwaukee Police Department in the 4300 block of W. Bradley Road t 4:40 a.m. Nov. 18. He had been pulled over for improper display of a temporary license plate. He had a blood-alcohol content of 0.08.

A 53-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and driving without a license in the 5400 block of W. County Line Road at 10:15 a.m. Nov. 18. He was taken to St. Mary's Ozaukee for a blood test and for treatment of an injured hand.

A New Jersey man reported the theft of $120 from his locker at the Schroeder YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road, in the early afternoon Nov. 18.

A 26-year-old Brown Deer woman was arrested after her car collided with a police patrol car at N. 47th St. and W. Bradley Road at 2:39 a.m. Nov. 20. She was arrested on charges of failing to yield the right of way, possession of marijuana, driving under the influence of a drug and causing injury, and refusing a blood test.

A television, rings and other items with a total value of $820 were taken from a house in the 6400 block of W. County Line Road between 8 a.m. and noon Nov. 21.

A tool box containing automotive tools valued at $250 was taken from an underground parking garage in the 4100 block of W. Rivers Edge Circle between 4:30 and 8:30 p.m. Nov. 21.

A 49-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on charges of drunken driving (third offense) and operating after revocation in the 4500 block of W. River Lane at 7:25 p.m. Nov. 22. The driver was taken to St. Mary's Ozaukee for a blood test to determine his level of intoxication.

Police answered four domestic incident calls during the past 10 days.

Forceful entry into a garage in the 3800 block of E. Armour Ave. was reported at 6:05 p.m. Nov. 17. Nothing was stolen.

Theft

Two game systems, valued together at $400, were reported stolen from a home in the 2800 block of E. Grange Ave. at 6:05 p.m. Nov. 8.

Groceries valued at $841 were reported stolen from Pick 'n Save, 5851 S. Packard Ave., at 6:47 p.m. Nov. 18. A customer fled the store with a shopping cart as the items were being checked through the scanner at the checkout line.

A vehicle valued at $20,000 was reported stolen from the 3800 block of E. Armour Ave. at 8:06 p.m. Nov. 18.

A TV, DVD player, stereo system, guitar, amplifier, video game system and a laptop, valued together at $12,600, were reported stolen from an apartment in the 3600 block of E. Pulaski Ave. at 6:25 p.m. Nov. 20.

Drug possession

A 19-year-old Cudahy man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 3400 block of E. Plankinton Ave. at 11:36 p.m. Nov. 16.

Vandalism

A car was scratched in the 3900 block of E. Iona Terrace between 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18 and noon Nov. 19. Damage was estimated at $250.

A car window was smashed in the 3900 block of E. Layton Ave. at 2:04 p.m. Nov. 19. Damage was estimated at $400.

Other

A 13-year-old Cudahy boy was cited for disorderly conduct at Cudahy Middle School, 5530 S. Barland Ave., at 3:11 p.m. Nov. 17. The boy had a verbal outburst during class and swore at a teacher.

A 44-year-old Cudahy man was cited for letting two German shepherds run loose in the 5400 block of S. Merrill Ave. at 2:54 p.m. Nov. 18.

Three Cudahy women, one age 20 and two age 19, were cited for underage drinking at Plankinton Inn, 3509 E. Plankinton Ave., at 1 a.m. Nov. 21. The bar owner, a 48-year-old Cudahy man, was cited for serving alcohol to minors.

A 16-year-old Cudahy boy was cited for disorderly conduct after fighting at Cudahy High School, 4950 S. Lake Drive, at 1:41 p.m. Nov. 21.

Police responded to three domestic abuse calls last week.

A 16-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for theft after a car stereo and radar detector were taken from a car in a parking structure at Porticos of Fox Point, 500 W. Bradley Road, on Nov. 10. The estimated value of the stolen articles was $1,000.

A watch valued at $1,800 was taken from an apartment at Porticos of Fox Point, 500 W. Bradley Road, between 7:30 and 8 p.m. Nov. 16.

A total of 44 counterfeit $50 bills and 22 counterfeit $20 bills were passed at Best Buy, 8755 N. Port Washington Road, before 6:30 p.m. Nov. 17. The U.S. Secret Service is investigating.

A 53-year-old Whitefish Bay woman was cited for drunken driving after she was pulled over for erratic driving in the 8100 block of N. Port Washington Road about 8 p.m. Nov. 19.

A snowboard valued at $500 was taken in a burglary in the 8200 block of N. Santa Monica Blvd. over the Thanksgiving weekend. The theft was from the garage and an attempt to enter the home also was made. A door sustained an estimated $300 damage. Police do not know how the garage was entered. It was the second attempted burglary since September at the home.

Several items were removed from an apartment in the 6300 block of S. 35th St. between 8 p.m. Nov. 17 and 1:13 p.m. Nov. 22.

Theft

An engine casing was taken from Harley-Davidson, 10000 S. Franklin Drive, before 8:33 a.m. Nov. 22.

A subwoofer box was taken from a car in the 8300 block of W. Beacon Hill Drive between 9 p.m. Nov. 21 and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 22.

A cell phone was taken from a Franklin woman in the 8200 block of S. 51st St. before 1:16 p.m. Nov. 22.

Drunken driving

A 53-year-old Greenfield man was arrested on charges of drunken driving in the 8300 block of W. Drexel Ave. at 9:08 p.m. Nov. 24.

Drug possession

A 45-year-old Franklin man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, keeping a drug house, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation in the 3600 block of W. College Ave. at 12:24 a.m. Nov. 21.

A man was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia after overdosing on cocaine in the 11000 block of W. Forest Home Ave. at 4:50 p.m. Nov. 21.

Vandalism

A double-paned picture window was smashed at a residence in the 7200 block of W. Pineberry Ridge overnight Nov. 21.

The rear window of a truck was smashed at Wal-Mart, 6701 S. 27th St., before 9:36 p.m. Nov. 22.

Christmas lights were broken at a residence in the 5500 block of W. Beacon Hill Drive between 11 p.m. Nov. 25 and 7 a.m. Nov. 26.

The lawn and a fence were driven over at Victoria Place Condos, 6822 S. 34th St., between 4 p.m. Nov. 26 and 9:45 a.m. Nov. 27.

The wires were cut on a mechanical deer at a residence in the 7600 block of S. 70th St. before 6:29 p.m. Nov. 26.

Other

A 16-year-old Franklin boy was cited for disorderly conduct after he was asked to sit at a desk properly and answered with repeated profanities at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., at 12:35 p.m. Nov. 7.

A semitrailer full of cabinets and merchandise was taken by mistake from Woodmill Products, 9563 S. 60th St., at 9:39 a.m. Nov. 22. The truck was located in Indiana.

Seven teenagers were arrested on charges of underage drinking in the 3300 block of W. Southland Drive at 12:19 a.m. Nov. 25.

Four 15-year-old Franklin boys were seen knocking over a large ashtray and in possession of a large bag of toilet paper at the Furniture Source, 6865 S. 27th St., at 9:07 p.m. Nov. 25. None of the boys was arrested.

A car window was broken in a rear lot in the 2600 block of W. Custer Ave. between 11:30 p.m. Nov. 16 and 7:45 a.m. Nov.17. It will cost $200 to replace the window.

A digital camera, electronic music players and $50 were taken from two lockers in the men's locker room and an office at the Wisconsin Athletic Club, 7601 N. Port Washington Road, between Nov. 17 and 20. The stolen items had a value of $900.

An apartment was burglarized in the 6500 block of N. Sidney Place between Nov. 17 and 21. Taken were electronic games valued at $4,000. Entry appeared to be made via a patio door.

Three men's coats valued at $500 were taken in a grab-and-run theft at Brooks Brothers, 5700 N. Bayshore Drive, Bayshore Town Center, at 2:05 p.m. Nov. 17.

Postage stamps worth $62 were taken from Bressler Ltd., 6300 N. Port Washington Road, at 3:21 p.m. Nov. 17. The owner interrupted a man going through office desk drawers and the man fled with the stamps.

A wallet containing $160 was taken from an employee at Bravo Cucina, 5689 N. Bayshore Drive, Bayshore Town Center, between 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Nov. 17. The wallet was in an inside coat pocket in an employee bathroom.

The Milwaukee County district attorney's office issued criminal charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, second offense, and operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited blood-alcohol content against a 45-year-old Glendale woman arrested in the 5800 block of N. Port Washington Road at 6:20 p.m. Nov. 17. The woman had a BAC of 0.30. Her 5- and 9-year-old sons were passengers in her vehicle.

Two counterfeit $50 bills were used to buy food at Arby's, Bayshore Town Center, 5800 N. Port Washington Road, on Nov. 18. A counterfeit $50 was also passed at Glen Cafe, 6823 N. Green Bay Ave., on Nov. 20.

Two Milwaukee men, ages 26 and 27, were arrested on charges of felon in possession of a firearm after police stopped their car because of expired registration in the 5400 block of N. Port Washington Road at 9:12 a.m. Nov. 18. A loaded gun was found in the car but both men denied it belonged to them. The younger man was also cited for driving with a suspended license, third offense, and having expired registration.

A car window was broken in an alley in the 4600 block of N. Ironwood Lane between 7 p.m. Nov. 18 and noon Nov. 19. Damage was estimated at $250. Two speakers valued at $75 and a $10 air pump were taken.

A 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, both of Milwaukee, were arrested on charges of resisting an officer in the 5700 block of N. Bayshore Drive, Bayshore Town Center, at 7:48 p.m. Nov. 18 after an officer saw the woman parking her car in a handicapped parking spot. The man also was cited for carrying concealed weapons: a folding pocket knife and a loaded high-velocity BB-firing replica of a Smith & Wesson gun.

A 57-year-old Milwaukee man driving a school bus was cited for driving a commercial vehicle with a BAC above 0.00 and inattentive driving after his bus struck the back of a car in the 1300 block of W. Silver Spring Drive at 8 a.m. Nov. 20. The man had a BAC of 0.02. The other driver, a 20-year-old Muskego woman, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of neck and back pain.

Two televisions and an acoustic guitar valued at $4,800 were taken from a house in the 200 block of W. Clovernook Lane during the day Nov. 20. The burglar gained entry through a bathroom window.

Two cars were entered through shattered windows at the Wisconsin Athletic Club, 7601 N. Port Washington Road, between 5:25 and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 20. A purse with credit cards and $20 was taken from one car and a purse, credit cards and $90 were taken from the second car. The credit cards were used to make numerous purchases. Damage to each window was estimated at $200.

A woman reported the theft of a debit card from her purse in her house in the 2100 block of N. Kendall Ave. on Nov. 21. Charges of $500 were made on the card.

Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., Bayshore Town Center, reported the theft of $600 from a cash register in the women's studio department Nov. 22. Store security reported similar thefts from other area Boston Stores.

A 36-year-old Milwaukee woman driving a school bus was cited for failing to yield the right of way after an accident in the 6400 block of N. Sidney Place at 6:41 a.m. Nov. 22. She was also arrested on a warrant from the West Allis Police Department. The other driver, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man, was arrested on three Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office warrants at Columbia Hospital, where he was taken for treatment of minor injuries.

A 53-year-old Wauwatosa man received a disorderly conduct ticket after an officer saw him urinating on the side of the road in the 4400 block of N. Port Washington Road at 6:44 p.m. Nov. 22.

Two men were interrupted as they attempted to enter a van in the 2100 block of W. Kendall Ave. at 10:53 a.m. Nov. 24. Damage to the van was estimated at $300.

A 26-year-old Glendale man was arrested on charges of drunken driving in the 2000 block of W. Bernard Lane at 2:18 a.m. Nov. 25. The driver was stopped for speeding. He had a BAC of 0.16.

Tires were reported missing from F&F Tire, 5300 S. 76th St., at 11:16 a.m. Nov. 24.

There were 20 cases of shoplifting reported at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., last week.

Assault

Two 17-year-old boys and a 14-year-old boy were arrested on charges of battery at Southridge Mall at 7:33 p.m. Nov. 25. The 14-year-old boy was also cited for trespassing. The boys allegedly participated in a fight in the upper level of Boston Store.

Drunken driving

A 28-year-old woman was arrested on charges of drunken driving at W. Loomis Road and W. College Ave. at 6:49 a.m. Nov. 23. The woman had a blood-alcohol content of 0.19.

Drug possession

A 21-year-old man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 7000 block of Industrial Loop at 5:21 p.m. Nov. 22.

Other

Two 19-year-old women, a 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were arrested on charges of underage drinking in the 6700 block of Crocus Court at 2:31 a.m. Nov. 26.

Fire

The Greendale Fire Department responded to three fire calls, two service calls and 27 EMS calls last week.

A flat screen TV and DVDs were taken from a residence in the 4400 block of S. Greenridge Circle at 7:52 p.m. Nov. 25.

Theft

A stereo was taken from a car parked near the intersection of S. 51st St. and W. Cold Spring Road during the evening hours of Nov. 19. A driver's side window was damaged.

An 18-year-old man was arrested on charges of internal theft at T.J. Maxx, 4200 S. 76th St., at 4:59 p.m. Nov. 20.

A plant hook and a trellis with pumpkins were taken from a residence in the 4000 block of W. Iona Terrace prior to 9:38 a.m. Nov. 21.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested on charges of retail theft after an employee reported she was concealing merchandise at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 11:56 a.m. Nov. 21.

A 23-year-old woman, a 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on charges of retail theft after they allegedly tore off UPC codes and stuffed clothes into a diaper bag at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 12:14 p.m. Nov. 22.

A pair of boots was taken from Dots, 4260 S. 76th St., prior to 12:59 p.m. Nov. 22.

A CD player was taken from a vehicle parked at Walgreens, 4405 W. Layton Ave., at 4:22 p.m. Nov. 22.

A 50-year-old woman was arrested on charges of retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 4200 S. 76th St., at 9:31 p.m. Nov. 22.

A CD/radio faceplate was taken from a vehicle parked in the 4100 block of S. 43rd St. between 2 and 9 p.m. Nov. 23.

A box of checks and two checkbooks were taken from a vehicle parked at Target, 4777 S. 27th St., between noon and 7 p.m. Nov. 24.

A 30-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were arrested on charges of retail theft after police responded to a report that they were fighting at Target, 4777 S. 27th St., at 9:21 a.m. Nov. 25.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested on charges of obstructing an officer and retail theft at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 10:29 a.m. Nov. 25.

An 84-year-old man was arrested on charges of retail theft at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 10:38 a.m. Nov. 25.

A wallet containing a driver's license, Social Security card, birth certificate, credit cards and $190 cash was taken at Wal-Mart, 4500 S. 108th St., prior to 7:07 a.m. Nov. 26.

Firewood was taken from a wood pile at a residence in the 9300 block of W. Cold Spring Road prior to 11:01 p.m. Nov. 26.

Vandalism

The northeast corner of Stu's Flooring, 4820 W. Loomis Road, was damaged by graffiti prior to 9:34 a.m. Nov. 20.

The rear window of a vehicle was shattered in the 5700 block of S. 60th St. prior to 4:02 a.m. Nov. 23.

The rear window of a vehicle was broken in the 5300 block of W. Layton Ave. during the evening hours of Nov. 23.

An inflatable snowman was reported deflated by a vandal in the 4000 block of S. 56th St. at 2:15 a.m. Nov. 24.

A garage was damaged by graffiti reading "chosen" at a residence in the 12100 block of W. White Oak Drive during the evening hours of Nov. 23.

The rear window of a vehicle was broken near the 6400 block of W. English Meadows Drive between 5 and 10 p.m. Nov. 26.

Drunken driving

A 43-year-old woman was arrested on charges of drunken driving in the 8100 block of W. Forest Garden Court after picking up her child from Maple Grove School at 12:34 p.m. Nov. 20.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested on charges of drunken driving near the intersection of S. 35th St. and W. Howard Ave. at 2:24 a.m. Nov. 23.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested on charges of drunken driving in the 4400 block of S. 84th St. at 4:47 a.m. Nov. 23.

Other

A 41-year-old man was arrested on charges of criminal damage, resisting an officer and disorderly conduct after he reportedly kicked in the door of an apartment in the 6400 block of W. English Meadows Drive at 9:22 p.m. Nov. 23.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on charges of trespassing and resisting arrest after police responded to a report that an intoxicated man was trying to break into an apartment in the 6700 block of W. Layton Ave. at 12:10 a.m. Nov. 26.

A 19-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct after an employee of Kopp's Frozen Custard, 7631 W. Layton Ave., reported the man was threatening employees at 10:42 p.m. Nov. 26.

Police responded to six domestic dispute calls this week.

A cell phone was reported missing from Mia Familia, 10049 W. Forest Home Ave., at 2:55 p.m. Nov. 24. The cell phone was worth $150.

A screen from a window on a home in the 10400 block of W. Scharles Ave. was reported missing at 12:40 p.m. Nov. 25. The screen was worth $20.

Drunken driving

A 45-year-old Muskego man was arrested on charges of drunken driving at S. 108th Street and W. Forest Home Ave. at 4:20 p.m. Nov. 22. The man had a blood-alcohol content of 0.18. He was also cited for deviation from the designated lane.

A 21-year-old Franklin man was arrested on charges of drunken driving at S. 116th St. and Seneca Trail at 2:43 a.m. Nov. 25. The man had a blood-alcohol content of 0.14. He was also cited for driving with a suspended license.

A 18-year-old Franklin man was arrested on charges of drunken driving at S. 108th St. and W. Forest Home Ave. at 4:14 a.m. Nov. 25. The man had a blood-alcohol content of 0.14. He was also cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed.

A 41-year-old Neopit man was arrested on charges of drunken driving in the 9500 block of W. Forest Home Ave. at 2:53 a.m. Nov. 26. The man had a blood-alcohol content of 0.16. He was also cited for failure to obey a sign.

Accidents

Two vehicles collided at W. Forest Home Ave. and W. Grange Ave. at 6:54 a.m. Nov. 24. A 26-year-old Franklin woman was cited for improper right turn during the incident.

Vandalism

A light pole was reported damaged in Hales Corners Park, 5765 S. New Berlin Road, at 8:11 a.m. Nov. 20. The damage was estimated to be $500.

Other

A 31-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested on charges of driving without a valid license in the 5900 block of S. 108th Place at 12:01 a.m. Nov. 21.

A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct at Mobil gas station, 5101 S. 108th St., at 2:23 a.m. Nov. 24. The woman allegedly urinated in a mop bucket in a storage closet.

A 18-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on charges of driving with a revoked license in the 5100 block of S.108th St. at 6:37 p.m. Nov. 24.

A 20-year-old Racine woman was arrested on charges of underage drinking at S. 108th St. and W. Edgerton Ave. at 3:09 a.m. Nov. 25.

A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license in the 11000 block of W. Janesville Road at 1:44 p.m. Nov. 25. The man was also cited for expired registration.

Department personnel responded to a total of 145 calls for service between Nov. 18 and Nov. 27: 109 emergency medical and 36 fire calls.

Fifteen sheets of plywood, valued at $150, were reported stolen from a construction site in the 1000 block of W. Rosewood Terrace about 6:30 a.m. Nov. 18.

Christmas decorations, valued at $200, were stolen from a residence in the 1500 block of E. Falcon Glen between 10 p.m. Nov. 20 and 7:40 a.m. Nov. 21.

A cell phone valued at $150 was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1900 block of E. Montana Ave. between 4:30 p.m. Nov. 21 and 5 a.m. Nov. 22.

A TV/DVD player was stolen from a locked vehicle parked at a hotel in the 6300 block of S. 13th St. between 4 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Nov. 22. The lock was removed from the door to gain entry. The loss and damage were estimated at $500.

A spool containing 125 feet of copper wiring, valued at $700, was reported stolen from a construction site in the 1900 block of W. Puetz Road about 10:40 a.m. Nov. 22.

A 23-year-old Waukesha man was cited for theft after police say he attempted to take saw blades and masonry grinding wheels, valued together at $100, from Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., about noon Nov. 22.

A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for theft after police say he attempted to take 24 cans of baby formula, valued at $276, from Pick 'n Save, 6462 S. 27th St., about 6 p.m. Nov. 22.

A flat-screen television monitor valued at $500 was stolen from a vehicle parked at a hotel in the 6300 block of S. 13th St. between 8 p.m. Nov. 23 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 24.

Assault

A 25-year-old Cudahy man was arrested on charges of battery after he punched a woman in the face at a party in the 6600 block of S. Crane Drive at 12:15 a.m. Nov. 25.

Drug possession

A 25-year-old Olympia, Wash., woman was cited for drug possession after police found marijuana in her hotel room in the 1200 block of W. College Ave. about 1:30 p.m. Nov. 22.

A 23-year-old Oak Creek man was cited for drug possession and arrested on a charge of driving without a valid license after police found marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop in the 7700 block of S. Howell Ave. about 8:15 a.m. Nov. 24.

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for drug possession after admitting to smoking marijuana and to ownership of more than 10 grams of marijuana found in his hotel room in the 1200 block of W. College Ave. about 11:30 p.m. Nov. 24.

An 18-year-old Franklin man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a marijuana pipe in his vehicle while it was parked at Taco Bell, 8261 S. Howell Ave., about 1:45 p.m. Nov. 26.

Drunken driving

A 22-year-old Oak Creek man was cited for drunken driving in the 2200 block of E. Rawson Ave. about 1 a.m. Nov. 23.

A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for drunken driving in the 100 block of E. Ryan Road at 1:25 a.m. Nov. 23.

A 44-year-old Racine man was cited for drunken driving in the 8800 block of S. Howell Ave. about 1:50 a.m. Nov. 23.

A 24-year-old Oak Creek man was cited for drunken driving in the 6300 block of S. 13th St. about 3:40 a.m. Nov. 23.

A 22-year-old Caledonia man was cited for drunken driving, speeding and driving with a revoked license after police saw his vehicle traveling at 90 mph in the 9800 block of S. Howell Ave. at 3:15 a.m. Nov. 24.

A 32-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for drunken driving in the 7400 block of S. 13th St. about 2:50 a.m. Nov. 26.

Vandalism

The rear window of a vehicle was smashed with a pumpkin in the 1200 block of E. Sommers Drive between 5 p.m. Nov. 20 and 2 a.m. Nov. 21.

The windshield was broken on a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of E. Elm Road between 8:30 p.m. Nov. 20 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 21. Damage was estimated at $300.

An egg was thrown at a vehicle and the air was let out of one of the tires in the 1500 block of W. Daniel Lane overnight Nov. 23.

Obscenities were spray-painted on a vehicle parked in the 2200 block of W. Vista Bella Drive between 4:30 and 11:20 p.m. Nov. 24.

A derogatory statement was spray-painted on the garage door of a residence in the 8600 block of S. Roxbury Way between 8 and 9:15 p.m. Nov. 24.

Obscenities were spray-painted on a garage door in the 8500 block of S. Breaburn Drive at 7 a.m. Nov. 25.

A 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy, both of Oak Creek, were arrested on charges of criminal damage to property after graffiti was reported spray-painted on the water tower in the 8300 block of S. 27th St. at 8:20 a.m. Nov. 25.

Other

A 15-year-old Oak Creek girl was cited for possession of an intoxicant after police observed her drinking vodka at a residence in the 3600 block of E. O'Brien Road about 8:50 p.m. Nov. 21.

A 35-year-old Oak Creek man was cited for trespassing after he walked around carrying a box of pizza and a 40-ounce beer at Delphi, 7929 S. Howell Ave., about 6:25 p.m. Nov. 25. The man told Delphi employees that he wanted to see what the shop looked like before it was torn down.

An 18-year-old Franklin man was cited for possession of an intoxicant after police found him intoxicated in the parking lot of Pick 'n Save, 8770 S. Howell Ave., at 9:25 p.m. Nov. 25.

An 18-year-old New Berlin man was cited for possession of an intoxicant after police found him intoxicated behind Open Pantry, 1225 W. Rawson Ave., at 11:35 p.m. Nov. 25.

A 40-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for trespassing after he was found loading scrap items into his van at a construction site at Delphi, 7929 S. Howell Ave., at 10:50 a.m. Nov. 26. Police made him unload all of the scrap items he had taken.

Fire

The Oak Creek Fire Department responded to 14 fire and 31 rescue calls last week.

A 24-year-old Milwaukee man, who drove his car across a lane on I-43 and then onto the shoulder about 2:45 a.m. Nov. 18, faces a possible charge of drunken driving. He had 0.16 percent blood-alcohol content when his car was pulled over in the 6500 block of I-43.

A 30-year-old Brookfield woman was cited for drunken driving after she was pulled over in the 8900 block of N. Green Bay Road about 1:35 a.m. Nov. 26 for erratic driving. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.17.

On Dec. 12, the Milwaukee County district attorney's office will consider a charge of obstructing against a 27-year-old Milwaukee man who presented the driver's license of a San Antonio man when he was pulled over for speeding in River Hills on April 10.

A rug valued at $80 was taken from a house in the 1600 block of E. Kenmore Place before 9 a.m. Nov. 18.

Several racially derogatory terms were found written in chalk on the sidewalk in the 4400 block of N. Bartlett Ave. at 9 a.m. Nov. 25.

Seven or eight video games and $400 cash were stolen from a locked residence in the 700 block of Badger Ave. between 6:30 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Nov. 14. There were no signs of forced entry.

Theft

An in-dash CD player with remote, a digital music player, a car adapter and carrying case, and a jacket were stolen from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Walnut St. between 8 p.m. Nov. 25 and 3 p.m. Nov. 26. Entry was gained by breaking the rear driver's side window. The property loss is estimated at $1,400. Damage was estimated at $400.

Other

A 40-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and was cited for driving with a revoked license after she struck another vehicle at the intersection of S. Chicago and Manistique avenues and did not get out of her vehicle or exchange insurance information with the other driver at 9:15 a.m. Oct. 21.

Fire calls

The South Milwaukee Fire Department responded to 27 rescue calls and seven fire calls last week.

Two 15-year-old boys, one of St. Francis and one of Milwaukee, were cited for disorderly conduct at St. Francis High School, 4225 S. Lake Drive, at 2:35 p.m. Nov. 21.

Police responded to two cases of domestic abuse last week.

Fire calls

The Fire Department responded to 21 ambulance calls and three fire calls last week.

A purse and a laptop computer were taken from a car inside a garage in the 9600 block of Grantosa Drive between 10 p.m Nov. 22 and 10 a.m. Nov. 23. Entry was gained by smashing a window, causing an estimated $100 damage.

An attempted burglary was reported on a garage in the 9500 block of Palmetto Drive between Nov. 23 and Nov. 26. Someone forced entry into the garage with a pry tool, resulting in an estimated $25 damage.

Three laptop computers and other items valued at $4,300 were taken in a multiple burglary involving five businesses located in a building at 830 N. 109th St. between 12:01 a.m. Nov. 23 and 10:30 p.m. Nov. 25.

A 26-year-old West Allis man was arrested on three outstanding warrants in the parking lot of The Chancery, 7615 W. State St. at 1:38 a.m. Nov. 23 after police responded to a report of two people having a loud verbal fight. A check on the two revealed the man was wanted.

Two sets of tires and rims valued at $3,400 were taken from a garage in the 9300 block of West Hope Drive between 3:30 and 7 a.m. Nov. 23. The homeowner discovered someone pried their way into the garage through the service door and scratched his truck, causing an estimated $500 damage.

A 16-year-old boy and 20-year-old man, both of Milwaukee, were arrested on charges of burglary after they allegedly broke into Fashion Scent, 6738 W. North Ave., at 5:53 a.m. Nov. 23. Police, responding to the scene, saw one of the suspects running with merchandise and chased him on foot. With the aid of Milwaukee police, they caught the 20-year-old in the 2500 block of N. 63rd St. The 16-year-old was found hiding in the back seat of a car behind the business. They are accused of taking the cash register after gaining entry by smashing a window, causing an estimated $2,000 damage.

Weapons valued at $2,125 - including three swords, a paintball gun, a World War II pistol, and a 1940s pellet gun - were taken from a home in the 12300 block of Dearbourn Ave. between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 25. Entry was gained through a window.

Theft

A 43-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on charges of theft at Puhl's True Value Hardware, 1525 N. 68th St., after he allegedly stole at least eight times from the store by taking items off the shelves and immediately returning them for cash between Oct. 1 and Nov. 24. When he entered the store at 1 p.m. Nov. 24, clerks called police, who found several receipts from the store in his pocket from returned merchandise. He told officers he needed the items for house repairs.

A gold and platinum tooth grill "with princess cut design," valued at $360, and cash was taken from a backpack left unattended on the floor of the boy's locker room at Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center St. between 3:10 and 6 p.m. Nov. 14.

A wallet containing cash, credit cards and a Social Security card was taken from a vehicle in the 2800 block of N. 117th St. between Nov. 18 and Nov. 25.

Police are looking for a 25-year-old Milwaukee man seen on surveillance tape at 11:24 a.m. Nov. 24 taking a locker key from another member who was playing racquetball and using it to unlock a locker at the YMCA, 2420 N. 124th St. He allegedly stole cash and a cell phone valued at $450. The man had left his key outside the racquetball court with other items; the Milwaukee man was spotted leaning over the items on the surveillance tape.

One "No Skateboarding" sign was taken and five were painted over outside First Congregational Church, 1511 Church St. between noon Nov. 25 and midnight Nov. 26, resulting in an estimated loss and damages of $225.

Assaults

Police are seeking battery charges against a 41-year-old Waukesha man for the battery and subsequent theft from a Wauwatosa man, his boyfriend, who lives in the 9300 block of W. North Ave., between 3 and 4:21 p.m. Nov. 24. According to the police report, the Waukesha man asked for money. When the victim refused, he choked him until he went unconscious and then stole $105 from the man's wallet before leaving him on the floor. The Waukesha man has numerous prior arrests for battery.

Drunken driving

A 61-year-old woman was charged by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office with her fifth drunken driving offense, a felony, after police arrested her in the 800 block of N. 70th St. at 7:58 p.m. Nov. 22. An anonymous caller reported her erratic driving. She was taken to a local hospital for a forced blood draw.

A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on charges of drunken driving in the 8900 block of Blue Mound Road at 12:39 a.m. Nov. 25 after an officer spotted him driving erratically. He had a blood-alcohol content of 0.17.

49-year-old Wauwatosa woman was arrested on her second drunken driving offense in the 7300 block of Harwood Ave. at 10:45 p.m. Nov. 25 after she pulled into her driveway and struck a large concrete and brick planter that supported the wood columns for the second floor porch of the apartment building. Police found her staggering around outside the vehicle.

A 42-year-old Wauwatosa woman was arrested on her third drunken driving offense at the intersection of Milwaukee and Wauwatosa avenues at 12:36 a.m. Nov. 26 after she reportedly ran a red light and nearly collided with an unmarked squad car. With the squad car behind blaring its siren and flashing its lights, the woman pulled her car over in the 7500 block of Oakhill Drive. Officers found a nearly empty, open bottle of vodka shoved between the two front seats of the car.

Vandalism

Someone threw at least a dozen eggs at a vehicle parked in the 100 block of N. 88th St. between 7 p.m. Nov. 21 and 6 a.m. Nov. 22, causing an unknown amount of damage.

Three clay pots valued at $30 were broken outside a home in the 6800 block of W. Wright St. between 3:30 and 6:10 a.m. Nov. 25.

A window was smashed on a home in the 10000 block of Melvina St. between 10 p.m. Nov. 25 and 9 a.m. Nov. 26, causing an estimated $150 damage.

Other

A man tried to pass a counterfeit $50 bill at Walgreens, 6600 W. State St., at 7:28 p.m. Nov. 20. After he handed the clerk the bill for merchandise totaling $2.10, she told him she would not accept the bill. He grabbed it from her and ran from the store.

A 13-year-old Wauwatosa boy was arrested on charges of obstruction of a police officer in the 10400 block of Hibbard Ave. at 7:06 p.m. Nov. 22 after his father reported him missing from their home. He told police that his son may be a friend's house in the Hibbard Ave. neighborhood. Police responded to the area, found the friend and questioned him for several minutes on the whereabouts of the missing 13-year-old boy, whom police later found was hiding in the bushes nearby during the questioning. The boy has had previous police contact.

A 20-year-old Wauwatosa man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting an officer in the 11200 block of W. Potter Road at 2:12 a.m. Nov. 24 after police were initially called for a report of family trouble. When police arrived to investigate, the man became combative, called the officers names, and said he was going to have all the officers involved in his arrest fired for taking him out of his home on Thanksgiving.

A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested in the 7200 block of Milwaukee Ave. at 7:38 p.m. Nov. 24 on open warrants from Milwaukee County and West Allis. Police were initially called to the home on a possible fight. He was transported to the Milwaukee County sheriff's office.

A 17-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct at Mayfair Mall at 7:55 p.m. Nov. 24 after he and his friends were told to leave the mall because they were seen grabbing girls and asking them for phone numbers. The 17-year-old broke free and ran from the group as they were being escorted out. After a brief chase, an officer got within 100 feet of the boy at which point the boy turned around yelled, "If you (expletive) touch me I'll beat the (expletive) out of you!" He was taken into custody and booked.

A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct at Mayfair Mall at 8:31 p.m. Nov. 24 after he refused to stop yelling profanities at security and police while being escorted out of the mall for an earlier behavior infraction. The man yelled to police they were infringing on his freedom of speech rights by telling him he could not swear and he accused them of racial discrimination.

A 20-year-old Wind Lake man was arrested as a fugitive in the 2200 block of N. 64th St. at 4:07 a.m. Nov. 25 after he was stopped for driving a vehicle with suspended license plates. His driving privileges had been revoked. He was picked up by the Milwaukee County sheriff's office.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct in the 2300 block of N. 64th St. at about 12:45 p.m. Nov. 25 after he allegedly urinated in an alley where he was re-roofing a home. A mother and her young son reported to police they saw the man urinating as they looked out their kitchen window. When questioned, the man told officers he didn't think anyone could see him.

A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct at Mayfair Mall at 5:05 p.m. Nov. 25 after a police officer spotted the boy and his friends shouting and acting inappropriately and blocking the aisles. As an officer asked the boys to quiet down and keep the aisles clear for other shoppers, mall security approached and said they were being ejected for their behavior. The 17-year-old apparently would not obey the officer's orders to leave the mall and started shouting.

An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct at Mayfair Mall at 6:08 p.m. Nov. 25 after security tried to eject him and his friends from the mall for improper behavior. The man swore and yelled at officers.

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on charges of liquor law violations at Mayfair Mall at 8:43 p.m. Nov. 25 after he was found carrying around a bottle of beer in his pocket. He was cited for possession of alcohol on a public property.

A 15-year-old West Allis boy told police he was robbed of his digital music player valued at $200 as he walked in McCarty Park about 4:30 p.m. Nov. 20.

Police are seeking a man in his early 20s in connection with an armed robbery at Serv U Pharmacy, 7500 W. Oklahoma Ave., about 11 a.m. Nov. 25. The man fled with 225 tablets of Percocet.

A 21-year-old Greenfield man was robbed at gunpoint of a car stereo, power saw and a power drill of undetermined value in the 1100 block of S. 63rd St. about 3:20 a.m. Nov. 26.

Burglary

A laptop computer and a digital music player, valued together at $530, were stolen from an apartment in the 2000 block of S. 102nd St. between Nov. 10 and 17.

A bowling ball and cash, valued together at $500, were stolen from a pick-up truck parked in a garage in the 2000 block of S. 78th St., on Nov. 20 or 21.

Theft

A camera valued at $2,200 was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of S. 102nd St. between Oct. 19 and Nov. 19.

Cash in the amount of $1,900 was reported stolen from a purse left at Schlotzky's Deli, 2705 S. 108th St., about 8:45 p.m. Nov. 17.

A car stereo and 250 CDs, valued together at $820, were stolen from a car parked in the 2200 block of S. 80th St. on Nov. 17 or 18. The side window of the vehicle was smashed to gain entry.

An aluminum extension ladder valued at $75 was stolen from the backyard of a home in the 1000 block of S. 113th St. on Nov. 17 or 18.

Six CDs valued at $60 and $5 in change were stolen from a car parked in the 6300 block of W. National Ave. on Nov. 17 or 18. The windshield and side window of the vehicle were smashed to gain entry. Damage was estimated at $450.

Five 7-foot scaffold planks, valued together at $500, were stolen from Arby's, 10743 W. National Ave., between Nov. 17 and 20.

A cell phone valued at $400 was reported stolen from the Sprint Store, 2905 S. 108th St., about 4 p.m. Nov. 18.

A car valued at $4,000 was reported stolen from the 2100 block of S. 77th St. about 12:30 p.m. Nov. 21.

A girl's bicycle valued at $169 was reported stolen from outside Pick 'n Save, 6760 W. National Ave., about 6 p.m. Nov. 21.

Milwaukee police arrested a 33-year-old West Allis man accused of stealing a $15,000 pick-up truck from behind a West Allis home in the 1300 block of S. 58th St. about 2 a.m. Nov. 22.

A car stereo of undetermined value was stolen from a vehicle parked in the lot of Burnham Bowl, 6016 W. Burnham St., on Nov. 22 or 23. A window was jimmied to gain entry to the car.

A car stereo of undetermined value was stolen from one car and a window was smashed on a second at Ryan Motors, 6747 W. Lincoln Ave., on Nov. 22 or 24. About $1,500 damage was done to one car.

A car stereo of undetermined value was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked behind an apartment building in the 5400 block of W. Lincoln Ave. between Nov. 22 and 24.

Three lighted deer, valued together at $150, were stolen from the front yard of a home in the 1900 block of S. 59th St. between 2 and 3:30 a.m. Nov. 26.

A 1995 Ford Probe valued at $2,500 was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 1000 block of S. 108th St., about 9:20 a.m. Nov. 26. The keys had been left in the vehicle.

A car stereo and remote garage door opener, valued together at $160, were stolen from a car parked behind a home in the 1500 block of S. 56th St. on Nov. 26 or 27. A side window of the car was smashed and damage was estimated at $200.

Assault

A 42-year-old Oconto man was severely injured in a bar fight at Ubie's Double Vision, 5501 W. Burnham St., about 11 p.m. Nov. 21. The man's son, a 24-year-old from Hartford, was fighting with a 25-year-old Milwaukee man. The 25-year-old and two other men then started fighting with the Oconto man, kicking him in the head and body. The man was taken to Froedtert Hospital. He sustained a broken rib, collapsed lung and bruises to his face. The 25-year-old faces a substantial battery charge. The other two men are still being sought. The victim's son was ticketed for disorderly conduct.

A store security officer was bitten on the arm by one of three women accused of shoplifting at Target, 2600 S. 108th St., about 7:45 a.m. Nov. 24. The women were confronted by store security, and a struggle ensued. The officer was bitten and when one of the women pulled out a box cutter, the security officers backed off. The three fled with one of the women running off with a set of handcuffs locked on one of her wrists.

Drug possession

A 13-year-old West Allis boy was referred to juvenile authorities for trying to sell marijuana outside Try It Again skateboard park, 6803 W. National Ave., about 9:30 p.m. Nov. 20.

Vandalism

A rear window was smashed and the roof of a car was dented in the 1600 block of S. 61st St. on Nov. 17 or 18. Damage was estimated at $800.

Side windows on two vehicles were shot out in the 1500 block of S. 56th St. on Nov. 18 or 19. Damage was undetermined.

A glass door and two windows were smashed on a building being remodeled in the 1700 block of S. 81st St. on Nov. 18 or 19. Damage was estimated at $2,000.

A rock was thrown through a basement window at a home in the 1900 block of S. 78th St. about 3 p.m. Nov. 20. Damage was estimated at $100.

Someone urinated inside an unlocked car parked in the 2100 block of S. 77th St. on Nov. 20 or 21.

The passenger side window of a vehicle was broken with a lawn ornament in the 2200 block of S. 77th St. about 4 p.m. Nov. 21. A damage estimate was unavailable.

The rear window of a car was smashed in the owner's driveway in the 8300 block of W. Dreyer Place between 3 and 8 a.m. Nov. 23. Damage was estimated at $250.

Windows were smashed on a van and a storm door and back door were broken on the owner's home in the 1900 block of S. 72nd St. about 6:20 p.m. Nov. 25. Damage was estimated at $850.

The side mirror was broken off a car in the 1900 block of S. 68th St. on Nov. 25 or 26. Damage was estimated at $200.

Two tires on two vehicles were slashed in the 1700 block of S. 59th St. on Nov. 25 or 26. There was no estimate of damage.

The driver's side window of a car was smashed in the 2200 block of S. 78th St. between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Nov. 26. No damage estimate was available.

Other

A 41-year-old West Allis woman was ticketed for resisting arrest and obstructing an officer after an incident at her home in the 2000 block of S. 58th St. about 3 a.m. Nov. 25. The woman had called police to report her van stolen. Police discovered the van had been involved in a hit-and-run incident involving another vehicle in front of the Dirty Martini, 6540 W. Grant St., earlier in the evening. When officers attempted to take her to the station for questioning, she became uncooperative and kicked one of the officers. The woman also may face charges in connection with the hit-and-run.

Fire

Police are investigating a car fire that destroyed a 2002 Chevy Cavalier parked behind a home in the 1700 block of S. 64th St. about 3 a.m. Nov. 23. The fire also damaged the siding on the home.

A 44-year-old Milwaukee woman was charged with theft following a police investigation of a theft of jewelry and an iPod from a home in the 4800 block of N. Bartlett Ave. between Nov. 1 and 3. Most of the property, valued at a total of nearly $3,000, was recovered.

Jewelry and a safe valued at a total of $49,000 were taken from a home in the 6000 block of N. Lake Drive between noon and 5:45 p.m. Nov. 18. The rear door had been kicked in. The jewelry had been taken from several rooms and the safe was so heavy it had to be dragged out.

Jewelry, a DVD player and Halloween candy valued at a total of $2,800 were taken in a burglary in the 500 block of E. Hampton Road between 12:30 p.m. Nov. 25 and 3:40 p.m. Nov. 26.

A 16-year-old Milwaukee girl who was a passenger in a car that went off the road and hit a light pole was taken to Columbia-St. Mary's Hospital with a head injury. The accident happened at N. Lake Drive and E. Fairmount Ave. at about 5 a.m. Nov. 22. The 20-year-old Milwaukee man at the wheel was cited for underage drinking, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to stop for a stop sign and for driving after his license had been suspended.

30 years later, Cypress honors its only officer to die on duty.
An act of vandalism to the Pioneer High School visitors locker room is expected to be handled without law enforcement or Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association involvement, Pioneer Superintendent Bill Noak said Wednesday.
